Meet Dr. Amanda Hoover, DDS

Dr. Amanda Hoover earned her Biology degree from Virginia Tech before obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from VCU School of Dentistry. She believes dentistry is where science and art harmonize, blending oral health with aesthetically focused outcomes. Most importantly, she values building lasting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, empowered, and confident in their care.
Dr. Amanda has participated in Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day, providing free dental care to underserved communities—an outreach passion that remains close to her heart. She is also active in local and national dental organizations, staying at the forefront of modern dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Amanda Hoover enjoys traveling, exercising, cooking, and being a mom to two avid soccer players. On the weekend when they are not at their kids’ soccer games, you’ll find them enjoying Richmond’s foodie scene at favorite spots like Stellas and L’Opossum.

Dr. Katherine Louscher specializes in restorative, preventative, and diagnostic dentistry, with expertise in treatment planning and procedural care. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Arkansas before obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa.
Passionate about giving back, Dr. Louscher has provided free dental care through Mission of Mercy in Arkansas and Iowa, helping underserved patients receive essential treatment. She values building patient relationships and creating custom treatment plans that align with long-term health goals.
She and her husband, Dr. Kane Louscher, moved to Richmond for his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at VCU. They love exploring the city—especially Dr. Louscher’s official favorite: Stella’s!
When she’s not fulfilling her dreams at our office, Dr. Louscher enjoys running, biking, skiing, and cooking—always ready for a new challenge.
